Why your feet hurt

Your shoes have been working against your feet

Tap a spot to see why it hurts.

A woman standing in the Ease shoes, side view showing her hips, knees, ankles and the ball of her foot
  1. When your feet are tilted all day, everything above them adjusts to compensate.

In EaseYour weight spreads across the whole foot instead of the ball.

Nothing pressing. Nothing tilting.

What you get with Ease

A slip on you can be out of the door in, in one pull

1

Out of the door without bending down

An elastic cord buckle and a heel pull tab do the work.

2

Your toes get a wide front to sit in

The toe box is wide and foot shaped rather than tapered.

3

It fits like a sock, with nothing digging in

The elastic fly knit upper stretches around the shape of your foot.

4

Heel and toe sit at the same height

The sole is zero drop, so you keep the stance you have barefoot.

5

Comfortable through spring and autumn

Breathable knit over a sweat absorbing knit and mesh lining.

6

Light on the foot with grip that holds

About eight and a half ounces a shoe, over a PU foam insole.

What to expect

The first two weeks

Your feet need a few weeks.

  1. Day one, wearing the Ease indoors on a wooden floor

    Day 1 to 3

    A couple of hours

    Around the house.

  2. Stepping out of the front door in the Ease for a short errand

    Day 4 to 7

    Half a day

    Short walks outside.

  3. Sitting on a park bench in the Ease after a longer walk

    Day 8 to 14

    Most of the day

Take them out on grass one afternoon.

  4. Walking easily along a path in the Ease

    Day 15 on

    All day, every day

    Wear them anywhere.

Why it works

What Ease actually does for your feet

Overhead view of the Ease showing its wide barefoot toe box

Your toes finally have room

Wide and foot shaped, so toes splay.

Side view of the Ease showing its level zero drop sole

You stand level, not tipped forward

Flat from heel to toe, like barefoot.

Three quarter view of the Ease knit slip on

On in one pull, off just as fast

An elastic cord and pull tab, no laces.

The weight

You do not wear your shoes. You lift them, about 7,000 times a day.

A normal sneaker adds a few ounces. Multiply that by 7,000.

11.5 oz per shoe

Weight you stop lifting, every day

0 lb

One shoe per step, at 7,000 steps a day.

Questions

Ease questions, answered

Are these dressy or casual?

Both. Ease has a refined slip on look that works for dinner or smart casual plans, yet it is comfortable enough for daily wear. It is the pair you reach for when you want to look put together without fuss.

What size should I order?

True to size for most people. Barefoot shoes can run slightly short, so if you are between sizes or have wider feet, go up half a size. Women and men have separate sizing, switched with the Women and Men buttons at the top of the page.

How do the elastic side panels work?

The panels stretch as you slide your foot in, then hold the shoe snug so it stays secure while you walk. That is what makes them a true slip on with no laces or buckles.

There is no visible wide toe box. Do my toes still get room?

Yes. The wide anatomical toe box is built under a sleek exterior, so your toes get room to spread while the shoe keeps a sophisticated silhouette.

How do I care for them?

Wipe the upper with a soft damp cloth to lift dust and marks, then let them air dry away from direct heat. Keep them out of the washing machine so the elastic panels and shape hold up.

What does zero drop mean for a dress style shoe?

It means the heel and toes sit level, so you stand in a natural posture even in a dressier shoe. Paired with the flexible sole, it supports natural movement through a long evening.

What if they do not work out?

You are covered by a 30 day money back guarantee. Return them within 30 days for a full refund. We ship to the US and CA.
