Why your feet hurt
A warm boot should not cost you your toes
Tap a spot to see why it hurts.
-
When your feet are tilted all day, everything above them adjusts to compensate.
In EmberfieldYou keep a natural stance on frozen ground. -
A raised heel tips you forward, and your knees absorb what your feet cannot.
In EmberfieldNo hard shape pressing on one spot all day. -
A stiff sole stops your foot bending, so the work travels up into your lower legs.
In EmberfieldYour foot moves instead of being held still. -
Your toes are held in a point all day, so the widest part of your foot carries the pressure.
In EmberfieldYour toes splay even over thick winter socks.
Nothing pressing. Nothing tilting.

Questions
Emberfield questions, answered
How warm are the Emberfield boots?
Comfortably warm for fall and early winter. The velvet fleece lining holds heat while staying light, making these a great transitional boot for cool and cold weather days rather than deep freeze conditions.
Are they waterproof or water resistant?
They are water resistant. The umbrella fabric and microfiber upper sheds rain, slush and light snow so your feet stay dry in everyday wet weather. They are not built for wading through deep water.
Do they grip on snow and slick ground?
Yes. The flexible anti slip rubber sole grips wet pavement, snow and damp leaves. It keeps you steady on typical winter walks, though we always suggest care on solid ice.
Are these really barefoot boots?
They are. Emberfield is zero drop with a wide toe box and a thin flexible sole, so your toes can spread and your foot bends naturally with every step, even as an ankle boot.
What size should I choose with thick socks?
They fit true to size for most people. If you wear thicker socks, or you are between sizes or have wider feet, size up a half size for a roomier fit. Women and men have separate sizing, chosen with the Women and Men buttons at the top of the page.
How do I clean the upper and fleece lining?
Wipe the water resistant umbrella fabric and microfiber upper with a damp cloth and let it air dry naturally, which keeps the water resistant finish working. Let the velvet fleece lining dry fully between wears and keep them away from direct heat.
What if they do not work out?
You are covered by a 30 day money back guarantee. Return them within 30 days for a full refund. We ship to the US and CA.
